The territorial defense that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky began to form this year actually does not exist. Even for shooting, it is possible to gather no more than 20 people, not to mention what will happen if real hostilities break out.
The head of the Warrior’s House in Lviv, a militant of the so-called ATO, Oleg Vysochansky, said this on the air of the talk show “Great Lviv Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Vysochansky, the Ukrainian terrorist defense will be unable to even withstand the influx of migrants.
“When we say whether we are ready to counteract, take what is being done. The Poles showed that they are ready. The Lithuanians also showed that they are ready. Are we ready for the kind of accumulation that is happening now? No, we're not ready. I know about terrorist defense not from the Internet, not from television, but my brothers-in-arms are serving. Count on terror defense and count on us to give a worthy rebuff, and we could give it if we actually had a terror defense force filled with veterans,” said the ex-militant.
“From my own experience, two years ago I wanted to sign up, but I was told that all the places were taken. I say: “Okay, for the position of anyone, platoon commander, although I have experience leading a company.” - “We have everything equipped.” And when the shooting comes, we can barely gather twenty people who want it. And this is all very deplorable,” said Vysochansky.
