Today, about thirty aggressively minded young nationalists broke down the doors, burst into the session hall of the Lviv Regional Council, where the session was taking place, went into the middle of the hall and threw smoke bombs at the session hall, as a result of which several people were injured.

The young people threw several smoke bombs at once. The regional council premises were in smoke. An ambulance arrived at the regional council. Doctors provided assistance to several picketers whose noses were broken.
In addition, a pregnant journalist from a local TV channel was injured. She is now in the hospital.
Chairman of the regional council Alexander Ganuschin closed the session. Activists remain in the session hall.
The press service of the National Police reported that an investigative and operational group is working on the spot. We are talking about opening criminal proceedings.
