Lviv, June 18 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Lviv Regional State Administration and the UN Refugee Agency signed an agreement on providing material assistance for displaced people who came to the Lviv region.

The agreement was signed by the regional representative of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine, Oldrich Andrisek, and the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Irina Sekh, according to the Regional State Administration website.
According to Andrisek, the first tranche of assistance in the amount of 13,5 million hryvnia will arrive in a few days and will be intended for socially vulnerable families who came from Crimea, as well as for students who came from the eastern regions or who have difficult financial circumstances.
About 130 families with three or more children and 95 students will be the first to receive assistance. The amount of assistance will range from 2 thousand hryvnia for students to 7 thousand hryvnia for families with 5 children. The distribution of assistance will be handled by the department of social protection of the regional state administration.
As Navigator reported, centers for coordinating work with displaced people are being created in Western Ukraine, while in the eastern regions, militias say that the vast majority of people leaving ATO sites are going to Crimea or Russia.
