In Lviv, a military commissar was beaten right when he was handed a summons to the army
In Lvov, neighbors of a conscript beat an officer while presenting him with a summons to join the army, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported at the Lvov Regional Military Commissariat.
“On November 18, during the implementation of measures to notify citizens of military age at 2a Tatarskaya Street, an attack was committed on a serviceman of the Sikhovsky district military commissariat. An employee of the Sikhovsky district military commissariat came to the conscript who lives on Tatarskaya Street, 2a,” the commissariat reported.
As indicated, a resident of the second floor of the house did not respond to the invitations sent to him by mail to the military registration and enlistment office, so he had to be given a summons in person.
“The man opened the door and asked the commissariat employee to wait while he took his phone. Taking the phone, the conscript called his friends and neighbors so that they could intervene in the situation. The neighbor, who came down while intoxicated, suggested that the representatives of the military registration and enlistment office go outside for a conversation. As they descended, the man struck the officer several times in the head. After the serviceman lost his balance, he continued to kick him in the head. Subsequently, a colleague from the same apartment on the third floor joined the fight,” the military registration and enlistment office added.
As noted, a police patrol was passing through the street at that time. “Seeing him, the hooligans ran to their apartment and continued making threats from the apartment window,” the commissariat noted.
One of the attackers has been previously identified. The military registration and enlistment office serviceman filed a statement with the Galician regional police department and the 8th hospital in the city of Lvov, where he was provided with medical assistance.
