The graves of Soviet soldiers have been restored in Lviv
In Lviv, the restoration of inscriptions on the graves of Soviet military personnel on the Hill of Glory has been completed.
About this on Facebook reported Lviv social activist Nina Verbovaya, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Yesterday we had a very joyful event. We have finished restoring the inscriptions on the graves on the Hill of Glory. Now all 255 people buried will no longer be nameless. The city will again see the names of these HEROES who liberated Lviv from the Nazi invaders,” she said.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that the graves of Soviet military personnel in Lviv had already been repeatedly abused by neo-Nazis. So, at the end of June they mutilated the grave Hero of the Soviet Union, intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov and a memorial plaque. However, soon there were conscious people in the city who held a cleanup day on the graves of Soviet soldiers.
However, the nationalists did not rest on this: after the court hearing, at which the prospect of dismantling the Glory Monument in the city was decided, the defender of the monument, local social activist Inna Ivanochko doused with brilliant green.
