This was reported by the UNN agency.
The monument is located in Lviv on Malanyuk Square.
Let us remind you that on May 21, during a meeting of the Lviv City Council session, deputies voted to dismantle the symbols of the communist totalitarian regime. 73 deputies voted “for” this decision. At the same time, it was proposed to transfer all these monuments and various symbols to the “Territory of Terror” museum.
Let us also recall that, as PolitNavigator previously reported, several months ago Lviv nationalists already tried to carry the monument without permission, citing the fact that Tudor is a “traitor to the Ukrainian people,” who, moreover, criticized the priests of the UGCC. Then the nationalists only managed to partially damage the monument, as the local police brutally dispersed the thugs with sledgehammers.
