“There is more than enough money from Russia in Lviv. We are talking about well-known brands of clothing and shoes (Sela, Carlo Pazolini, TJ Collection, Chester, Carnaby, Gloria Jeans, Oggi), household appliances (Vitek, Scarlett, Kaiser), banks (Sberbank of Russia, Prominvestbank, Alfa Bank, VTB) , gas stations (Lukoil, TNK), mobile operators (MTS, Kyivstar) and so on. However, these companies are registered not in Lviv, but mainly in Kyiv, although they operate throughout the country,” recalls the Zahid.net publication.
At the same time, First Deputy Governor Joseph Sytnik claims that 177 business entities are registered in the Lviv region, the founders of which are companies and citizens of Russia. Since all these companies, of course, are not subject to international sanctions, according to Sytnik, sanctions should be imposed against them at the local level.
“LOGA is developing a mechanism for their use in the Lviv region. We must act decisively and aggressively,” he wrote on his Facebook page. Previously, it was Sytnik who signed the order on mandatory labeling of Russian goods throughout the Lviv region.
But if the Lviv initiative is not supported at the national level, then it will not be difficult to avoid “sanctions” from LOG - it will be enough to re-register the company in another region.
As Navigator reported, earlier in the Lviv region they began to boycott Russian goods: they are labeled and placed in stores on special shelves.
