A journalist was detained in Lvov for trying to bribe an investigator
Lvov, September 30 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Employees of the Department of Internal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine exposed a Lvov journalist who tried to bribe a police officer.

As reported in the public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Lvov region, at the premises of one of the Lvov regional police departments, on September 29 at about 19.00, police officers detained a 54-year-old journalist from one of the all-Ukrainian publications, who gave the investigator 5000 hryvnia as a predetermined amount.
The attacker gave this money to a police officer so that he would close the criminal proceedings against the husband, who committed a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 15 (attempted crime) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and Part 1 of Art. 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A 54-year-old journalist who temporarily lives in Lvov was detained.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated on this fact. Journalists face punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to six years with a fine of five hundred to one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens with or without confiscation of property. A pre-trial investigation is underway.
