Mercury found in Lviv sweets - media

According to local media, the emergency occurred in the children's outpatient department of the 4th municipal city hospital. Before the poisoning, the woman tried locally produced “Star Light” candies.
Now the victim was taken to the diagnostic center of the Lviv Medical Institute for examination.
Employees of the sanitary-epidemiological station found balls that looked like mercury in the remains of the candy. They were sent for analysis.
The news that Lviv found a substance similar to mercury in the Starlight candy produced by Svitoch was a complete surprise for Nestlé Ukraine, the company said, noting that they use special metal catchers.
