A monument to the Russian commander Kutuzov was dismantled in the Lviv region
Lvov, February 24 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – In the city of Brody, Lviv region, a monument to the Russian commander Mikhail Kutuzov was dismantled, the press service of the Svoboda party reports. In its place will be a bust of Ukrainian political prisoner Igor Kalynets.

The monument to Kutuzov was erected in Soviet times in front of the pedagogical school in the city of Brody.
Earlier, Svoboda deputy Oleg Pankevich stated that the monument to Kutuzov symbolizes “Russian imperialism and Russian weapons” and is therefore anti-Ukrainian.
In addition, Panyevich argued that the monument to the Russian commander cannot be located opposite the pedagogical school, where future teachers are trained.
