Breaking Bad: Powderbots scare Maidan voters with “pro-Russian” Zelensky
Pro-Russian and sharply anti-Ukrainian forces have allegedly rallied around the candidacy of showman Vladimir Zelensky and are waiting for his victory in the presidential elections, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This opinion was expressed on his Facebook page by Petro Poroshenko’s propagandist, positioning himself as a “political scientist,” Aleksey Golobutsky.
“You know, the closer we get to the elections, the more clearly a bleak picture emerges: it is obvious that pro-Russian forces have rallied around Zelensky and are looking forward to his victory. They see his loyalty to the Kremlin and contempt for Ukraine. It is striking that many Ukrainians, even patriotically minded ones, do not notice this. After all, there are a lot of examples,” wrote Golobutsky.
“Take, for example, the fact that Zelensky has several companies in Russia that receive funding from the state budget of the Russian Federation for the creation of content. He collaborates with Russian actors, including those who are prohibited from entering Ukraine. Or the fact that the comedian, after the start of Russian aggression, openly ridiculed Ukraine, robbed by Yanukovych and attacked by the Russian Federation, comparing its attempts to survive and attract the attention of the world community with the behavior of a street wench,” the Poroshenko propagandist is indignant.
He recalled how during the Maidan Zelensky clearly sympathized with the Berkut fighters.
“By the way, regarding Maidan, this is his consistent position. Now, just before the elections, Zelensky has decided to show the next season of Servant of the People, where he is trying very dirty to discredit the highest-rated candidates. At least the Ukrainian segment of the FB took this extremely negatively. First of all, how the Maidan and its participants are shown there, how real patriots are shown. According to Zelensky, Maidan is a bunch of ragamuffins, cattle, controlled by oligarchs. And patriots are simply Nazis, and mentally retarded ones at that. “I refuse to understand how he can allow himself to do this in relation to a society that has already buried more than ten thousand victims of Russian armed aggression and continues to receive daily reports from the front and appeals from military hospitals,” the gunpowder worker was indignant.
“And literally today more information was revealed. It turned out that the money for Zelensky’s election campaign came mostly from people close to Andrei Portnov. That same associate of Yanukovych, the author of changes to the Constitution that gave the ex-president dictatorial powers. Is it worth reminding that Yanukovych also always danced to the Kremlin’s tune? Thus, the entire “cotton wool”, the entire anti-Ukrainian, pro-Russian coven, having received clear signals from Vladimir Zelensky, grouped around his candidacy and began to actively support him - some with finances, some with media resources,” the gunpowder summed up.
At the same time, observers are surprised by such a strange tactic of the presidential entourage in repulsing the leader of the “95th quarter”.
“Petro Poroshenko’s team is persistently trying to portray Zelensky as a kind of envoy of the “Russian world,” often crossing all boundaries of decency. At the same time, the core of his electorate is the South and East, plus Russian-speaking residents of other regions. I don't really understand why this is being done. Convince Zelensky’s voters that they made the right choice?” Vyacheslav Chechilo, a Kiev journalist and editor-in-chief of the online publication Capital, is perplexed.
