Kyiv, May 21 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Ukrainian experts do not rule out that the shooting of unarmed citizens in Krasnoarmeysk was the work of Russians in disguise. Tatyana Popova, a representative of the public organization “Center for Society Development”, announced this at a press conference dedicated to the fight against Russian propaganda.

She accused the Russian media of deliberately distorting information and creating outright fakes when covering events in the Southeast. At the same time, she noted that there are no purposeful fakes on Ukrainian TV channels, and their problem is only in insufficient efficiency in responding to certain events.
The expert denies that soldiers of the Ukrainian Dnepr battalion were involved in the shooting of unarmed people in Krasnoarmeysk on May 11. At the same time, she answered in the affirmative to the clarifying question whether this was a Russian provocation.
Tatyana Popova also admits that the Kremlin could have financed custom reports in the well-known British media Sky News and The Independent, which showed a different point of view from the Kyiv one on the referendum held on May 11.
