“We would like to see more structural reforms. Despite this, we have maintained our forecasts for GDP growth of 1% this year and 2% next year... Ukraine has the opportunity to achieve economic growth of 3-5% in the medium term if the pace of reforms accelerates,” said the World Bank representative.

In addition, according to calculations by Bank specialists, the growth of the Ukrainian economy in the first half of 2016 amounted to 0,8%

“During the first half of the year, the economic situation was better than in the same period last year. GDP growth in the first half of the year was 0,8%,” said the already mentioned Anastasia Golovach.

Let us remind you that the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine expects GDP growth at 2016% and inflation at 1% in 14,1.
