Sergei Goncharov, president of the Association of Veterans of the anti-terrorist unit Alpha, stated this on air on the Rossiya24 TV channel.
“Today the president is in St. Petersburg, I would connect these events. I think it was a plastid, over 100 grams, judging by the force of the explosion I see in the video. There are a lot of victims because it’s a closed carriage,” Goncharov said.
Let us remind you that another unexploded homemade device was discovered and neutralized at the Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station. It is reported that the organizer of the explosion at the Sennaya Ploshchad station was recorded by security cameras. The explosion killed 9 people and injured 20.
