The driver, through whose fault two girls died in Sevastopol, was imprisoned for 5,5 years
Sevastopol, October 09 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The Nakhimovsky District Court of Sevastopol passed a verdict against a 38-year-old resident of the Bakhchisaray district, found guilty of committing a crime under Part 6 of Art. 264 of the Criminal Code (violation of traffic rules by a person driving a car, committed while intoxicated, resulting in the death of two people through negligence).

According to the investigation, on July 4, the accused, while intoxicated while driving a Mazda car, grossly violated traffic rules in the village of Orlovka, Nakhimovsky district, colliding with a Nissan car in the oncoming lane. As a result of the accident, two girls born in 2002 and 2009, who were in the back seat of the Nissan, died.
The court agreed with the opinion of the state prosecution and found the defendant guilty of committing this crime and sentenced him to 5 years and 6 months in prison with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 3 years.
