The military commissar of the Gomel region declared the natural fraternal rights of Russia in Belarus
Military Commissioner of the Gomel Region Andrei Krivonosov, using an everyday metaphor, explained why Russia can interfere in the internal affairs of Belarus, but Lithuania and Poland cannot.
He spoke about this on the ONT TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let’s take interference in the affairs of the country by foreigners or even individual states. I am having a showdown with my wife. We express complaints to each other, our children watch. For now they are silent.
And then a neighbor appears from the top or bottom floor and gets involved in all this. By bribing my children into taking sides. He finances them so that they express only the opinion he needs. Throws in outright lies and fake news.
Why are you meddling in my family affairs with your Baltic or Polish accent? What goals do you pursue from this intervention? And it immediately becomes clear: they want to destroy your family.
But Russia is completely different. My brother, a member of my family, lives in the next apartment. He not only can, he is obliged to intervene so that we have reconciliation and peace in our family,” concluded Krivonosov.
