“DPR military registration and enlistment offices are overcrowded.” How is the third day of mobilization going?
In the Donetsk People's Republic, general mobilization continues for the third day, military registration and enlistment offices cannot cope with the flow of volunteers.
The corresponding story was published on the Oplot.TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Since February 18, the DPR military registration and enlistment offices have been overcrowded - after the head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, announced a general mobilization, hundreds of men are going to defend their native republic. Both those who received the summons and volunteers come.
“This is my decision, I have to do it. Because we need to defend the Motherland, beat the fascist bastard. As a reserve officer, I was obliged to appear and fulfill my duty,” said Donetsk resident Konstantin Buinovsky.
“This is a significant step - for the people of the republic to unite, to gather their will into a fist, to show their own dignity and self-respect. To protect our families and prevent conflict,” added Donetsk resident Alexey Reuka.
Many volunteers are asked to come to the military registration and enlistment offices the next day, as the staff cannot cope with the flow of people.
After going through all the formalities at the military registration and enlistment office, those mobilized by bus are transported to military units, where they will serve further.
