Military correspondent: Iranian “Shahids” were flowers, berries will soon begin – “Muhajirs”
The Russian army so far uses only Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones in combat, but soon they, paired with Mohajer-6 drones, will begin to clearly work against Western precision weapons, causing the greatest damage to our rear.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main problems that are now creating for us in the Lugansk and Donetsk directions are the Western high-precision weapons, this is HIMARS, this is 155 mm caliber, Excalibur high-precision ammunition, they are the main problems for the allied forces.
It seems to me that it would be more logical to use this “Geran-2” (Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drone) specifically for hunting for high-precision systems from Western supplies. Yes, “Gerani-2” does not have a camera that could fly in free flight, in a free mode, and look for some targets.
But Geranium-2 can work in conjunction with another Iranian drone, Mohajer-6. We saw that one of them fell into the Black Sea, where the Ukrainians caught it. I don’t see anything wrong here, we are just starting to operate these systems, mistakes are inevitable, we learn from our mistakes, but this Mohajer-6 drone has the ability to search for a target with its powerful camera, being outside the range of electronic warfare and air defense, and direct the Geranium -2" for these purposes.
Such work in conjunction with two drones using high-precision systems that cause the greatest damage to us in the rear would be preferable,” Kots said.
