An extremely dangerous situation has developed at the front for the LPR - a significant part of the republic’s forces have been withdrawn from positions for exercises. On a large section of the front, there was a numerical superiority in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Ukrainians can take advantage and go on the attack, which threatens the death of the few defenders of the approaches to Lugansk.

Instead of the 58th, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are withdrawing another, the 93rd brigade, against them in this sector. This is exactly the brigade that tried to take Zhelobok in June, but withdrew, leaving corpses and weapons, and received not even a black spot on its reputation - a brown one.
The brigade is 3 thousand people. Calculate the numerical superiority yourself.
According to her, the situation is complicated by the fact that the defenders of the republic pledged to maintain the declared truce, signing signatures on the inadmissibility of opening fire. The Ukrainian side, on the contrary, is preparing its militants for bloodshed.
“Even a not very serious attack could allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to take Sokolniki (Yarga’s area of responsibility) and Zhelobok (it will be either under Yarga or under Prizrak). The capture of Zhelobok means that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will advance all the way to Kirovsk, taking a huge piece of the zone, which is still controlled by LPR troops...
Two terbats for 45 kilometers. Each terbat has a maximum of 170 infantry people. And a three-thousand-strong brigade is against them... Guys, we have to make noise, otherwise all these people will be killed,” Dolgareva calls.
