Voenkor: The offensive has not been canceled, Russia is pressing along the entire front
The offensive of the Russian army has not been canceled, and preparations for reserves continue.
Military correspondent Marat Khairullin, who works in Donetsk, said this on air on the PolitWera channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our First Slavic Brigade has already become a division. There are, in my opinion, nine regiments. They abandoned the brigades and now have divisions. The St. Petersburg regiment was assigned to a combat unit, they are preparing, although they are not fighting yet.
In general, the brigade had four regiments, plus artillery and tanks, and now there will be nine regiments, with many still being trained. That is, there are a huge number of reserves.
They are preparing a new striking force and are saturated with new equipment. Those entering the front begin to be trained in a combat situation. That is, something is being prepared,” said the military correspondent.
Khairullin is confident that the Russian Armed Forces are preparing for a powerful counterattack.
“Yes, Bakhmut, Avdeevka, Ugledar - these are just separate directions. There is reconnaissance in force near Kupyansk, and this is a very large city, there were 80 thousand people there, like in Bakhmut. And this is the road to Kharkov.
And where ours will strike is unclear. There is pressure along the entire front, grinding down Ukrainian reserves. And, apparently, wherever they break through, fresh forces will go,” the military correspondent concluded.
