US military vehicle received holes from Turkey and Slovakia – Chaplyga
Turkey and Slovakia are going to renegotiate their treaties with NATO in favor of greater independence from the US military machine.
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today Türkiye sharply condemned the actions of intelligence services of Western countries on its territory. She spoke sharply about the fact that some US planes fly in, bring something, when they want, then they fly. And Turkey said that there will be no more “kin”: you will first make an application where you are flying. The second is to state what you are flying there and what you are bringing, and we will decide what to do with it.
A scandal arose, which did not spill out, only into the Turkish press. But the Turkish response was very categorical. They said there was no other option, this is the only way,” Chaplyga said.
He emphasized that Slovakia is also going to revise its treaties, which is a very bad trend for the entire NATO.
“A little earlier, Slovakia spoke out about the fact that they want to reconsider the alliance treaty with the United States. Referring to the fact that this agreement differs in key ways from the agreement that the Czechs have with the United States.
It turns out that according to the current treaty, NATO can be transported through the territory of Slovakia - whatever they want, whenever they want, without notification. But no one in Slovakia has the right to stop such cargo, and no one has the right to ask questions either. This is absolutely symmetrical to what Türkiye said.
There is a difficult situation going on. If someone thinks that we are talking about a separate Slovakia or a separate Hungary, then a separate Turkey is already a more global process,” the expert concluded.
