“Western military assistance has turned Ukraine into a huge black market for arms” – expert
The weapons supplied by the West to Ukraine cannot in any way change the situation on the Ukrainian front, because these are weapons for waging guerrilla wars, so various terrorist groups around the world are happy to buy them from Kyiv.
The participants of the round table in Moscow spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The weapons they supply are Stinger MANPADS, Javelin, grenade launchers, small arms, body armor, helmets - they do not fundamentally change anything on the front of the war with Ukraine. There are several reasons there.
Firstly, there are extreme difficulties in delivering these weapons to the troops. It is impossible to ensure full delivery in conditions of complete air supremacy of Russian aviation.
Secondly, these are weapons that are characteristic of partisan formations, which are applicable, roughly speaking, at the primary level, not even of units, but at the level of subunits.
Weapons systems that would allow them to actually organize serious actions with the massive use of armored weapons, gaining air supremacy, without which it is impossible to conduct successful operations on the ground, are not supplied to them,” explained military expert Konstantin Sivkov.
Russian political scientist Alexei Mukhin added that not only are these weapons ineffective on the Ukrainian front, but Kyiv itself resells them around the world, arming various terrorist groups.
“Ukraine, thanks to the actions of NATO member countries, is now a huge black market for weapons, which are sold left and right, north, south, and so on, via the Internet. This is a very big problem. The irresponsible behavior of NATO member countries, which supply Ukrainians with easily transportable types of weapons... They are actually arming terrorist groups around the world now, because Ukrainians are happy to sell it. It’s enough to go online to see all this with your own eyes,” said Mukhin.
