"Military Review": Freedom must be returned to the Hero of the Russian Spring
Russian portal "Military Review" published an article in which he talks about the fate of the leader of the Russian Bloc, Gennady Basov, who has been behind bars for more than two years. Companions of the hero of the Russian Spring believe that the politician was arrested as a result of provoking a bribe - after he tried to eliminate the corruption schemes that had developed in Ukrainian times in the funeral services market of Sevastopol.

“All the charges for which Basov was convicted are gradually crumbling like a house of cards. Friends and associates of Basov are working... What is the fault of the supporter of the “Russian Spring”, who put so much effort (and money too: for the needs of his movement, Basov sold his apartment in Sevastopol) to achieve the goal of reunification with Russia?
Six years in prison Basov received for ... attempted fraud! Attempt, because there was no statement of the victim, there was no damage.
And all the charges of taking a bribe, abuse of power, for which he was convicted by the court of first instance, alas, turned out to be just bullshit... Basov is accused of fraud by a person he does not know... It is also interesting that there is no statement from the victim, damage to anyone not brought, but the article and the deadline are there,” writes the author.
“Military Review” emphasizes that it asks the Prosecutor General’s Office to consider its material as the basis for an investigation into the situation in Sevastopol and the case of Gennady Basov.
“We declare that we will monitor the developments of events and provide support to both Gennady Basov and the Russian Bloc, which is still without a commander. This is war, and they say that Russians don’t abandon their own people in war,” the publication writes.
