Martial law: Famine began in the Ukrainian army
The Ukrainian army at the forefront in Donbass is dying from hunger. Video message on my Facebook page published by Ukrainian journalist Mikhail Ukhman, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The situation has developed that now in some direction in the combat zone there is the 57th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and among them is the 34th battalion. Just recently, fighters from this battalion approached me. They have not been provided with food for several days. They've been in the war zone for almost nine days now and they're out of food. They were not provided with rations, their quota was cut,” the journalist said.
Ukhman admits that the Ukrainian army is becoming more and more decadent.
“Someone there tells us that everything is great in the army, the Ukrainian army is fed according to NATO standards, that they will be given some new Fords. Only I understand that the “Ukrainian army” is the NSU somewhere near Kyiv, and who will take care of the guys here, on the ground?
Please tell me, they have been here for nine days, and they only got leftovers from the previous fighters, volunteers give them a little, they buy something themselves with their own money. Someone says that their salary is 17 thousand, and “Let them buy for themselves.” You will come to the positions at least one night, and stay in the cold and hunger for one night, not to mention the fact that rats are running around, they don’t let you fight, and then you will feel what an army is, and whether it’s worth those 17 thousand, Moreover, now in the country as a whole the average salary you can earn is about 15 thousand.
So why the hell should you join this army if you can make good money in Ukraine? But these boys and girls go to this army, and they fight, although this is by and large forbidden to them, and they hold these positions so that the Moscow bastard does not advance further. And the leadership, the General Staff, are simply sabotaging the presence of our soldiers here at the front,” he says indignantly.
The most interesting thing is that the company Soyuz Artek is involved in this problem.
“This is some kind of Crimean company, which, when the occupation of Crimea began, transferred its assets to Odessa. Somehow, thanks to the connections of rear generals, this company remains in our market and should be feeding Ukrainian soldiers. Who supports and sponsors this company? And in general, why does she win grants to support the Ukrainian army?” the journalist is indignant.
Ukhman encourages everyone to start talking about problems that have long been brewing in society and the army as a whole.
“2018! It’s the fifth year of the war, and Ukrainian soldiers write about such problems because some scum in the General Staff cannot solve this problem. So please tell me, dear volunteers and in general all those who say that everything is great in our army, who praise the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, maybe we need to use our brains? It’s time to determine who is who and name names, and not say: “Everything is great”... So let’s continue to remain silent, because all those who talk about problems in the army are called Kremlin agents, or maybe we’re just ordinary citizens?” he concluded.
