The DPR military school will become a Russian university
The Donetsk Higher Military School will become part of the Russian higher military education system.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated this today at a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our higher military school is one of the best in the world. Students and cadets from 55 countries study at universities of the Ministry of Defense. This exceeds the indicators of Soviet times. From September 1, 2023, the network of educational institutions of the Armed Forces will be replenished with the Donetsk Higher Military Combined Arms Command School,” Shoigu said.
The Donetsk Higher Combined Arms Command School (DonVOKU) of the DPR appeared in 2014. Before this, the Donetsk Higher Military-Political School of Engineering and Signal Corps named after Army General A.A. was located on this territory.
