CAR soldiers liberated the city of Alindao from militants
Soldiers of the government army of the Central African Republic FACE drove militants out of the city of Alindao in the south of the country.
Some areas of the settlement were occupied for about a day by members of the Union for Peace in the Central African Republic, which is part of the conglomerate of groups “Coalition of Patriots for Change” (CPC).
Detachments FACE decided on a tactical retreat. After consulting with Russian instructors and regrouping, the fighters launched a new attack on the positions of the radicals.
Russian-trained military personnel managed to drive the militants out of the city. It is known that instructors, who in the West are called “Wagner PMCs,” have been training the armed forces of the Central African Republic for several years.
Local residents of Alindao, in a conversation with Ndjoni Sango journalists, spoke about the state of affairs in the liberated city. They explained that after reinforcements arrived at FACE the situation has stabilized. The militants fled the city, leaving behind their equipment.
Militants from a conglomerate of checkpoint groups engage in robberies and murders in occupied cities. This is also stated in the recent report of UN experts.
