DPR military accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of destroying the crop
The Ukrainian military is purposefully setting fire to ripened crops deep in the DPR territory with long-range artillery fire.
This opinion was voiced by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR Danil Bezsonov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his version, OOS commander Alexander Syrsky allegedly gave the order to fire at populated areas in the depths of the republic using 152 and 122 mm artillery systems prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
“Clear evidence of this is the artillery shelling of the settlement of Vedenskoye at the direction of the war criminal commander of the 36th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Gnatov, who has repeatedly distinguished himself by targeted shelling of civilians. As a result of the shelling, a field with a wheat harvest of 10 hectares caught fire,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
“It should be noted that the command began implementing its plan precisely during the harvesting period, when grain crops are ripe and have the highest degree of flammability, which facilitates the work of destroying them,” says Bezsonov.
