The DPR military successfully repelled the attack of Ukrainian saboteurs
A Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group attacked DPR soldiers on the contact line, but the defenders of the Republic forced the saboteurs to retreat, and one was captured.

“On April 11, in the Mariupol direction, near the settlement. In Shirokino, our servicemen promptly discovered the enemy group. During the short clash, the saboteurs were forced to retreat to their original positions, suffering losses that amounted to one killed and two wounded. One wounded man was treacherously abandoned on the battlefield by the group’s command and was discovered by the DPR NM inspection team. He was provided with primary medical care on the spot,” the department said.
It is noted that the identity of the detained saboteur was also previously established.
“During the preliminary interview, it was established that the detainee is senior soldier Tofan I.I. To conduct further investigation, the serviceman was handed over to representatives of the Ministry of State Security of the republic,” the DPR UNM reported.
