The parade with the participation of NATO troops on Ukraine’s Independence Day on Khreshchatyk strengthens the “war party” in the country’s leadership and among the active part of society.

Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This parade has great symbolic meaning. The war party is strong in Ukraine. Previously, they only heard that America supported them. Now they have seen that NATO stands behind these people, who are not even controlled by Poroshenko. And since there are few brains there, they can easily cause any outrage on the border with Donbass,” Pogrebinsky said.
He believes that the latest statements by US State Department Special Representative Kurt Volker are aimed at justifying the supply of American weapons to Donbass.
“Volker, unlike even the Obama team, directly said that Russian troops are present there. They will demand the withdrawal of troops, no matter whether they are there or not. Russia says that they don’t exist, which means they can give weapons to Ukraine. I think this is the main task that Volker performs,” Pogrebinsky said.
