The military of Russia, Belarus and Serbia began practicing joint actions
The Russian-Belarusian-Serbian tactical exercise “Slavic Brotherhood - 2021” started at the Raevsky training ground in Novorossiysk.
More than 76 military personnel of the Vitebsk separate guards airborne formation arrived at the airfield of the Southern Military District Krymsk in the Krasnodar Territory on an Il-300MD military transport aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force.
Having completed all the necessary sanitary and epidemiological measures, the Belarusian paratroopers settled in the autonomous field camp APL-500.
The day before, a train with military and special equipment consisting of about 60 units of BTR-80 armored personnel carriers and MAZ and Ural vehicles arrived at the Tonnelnaya station near Novorossiysk.
Also, about 100 servicemen of the special brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces and more than 500 servicemen of the Guards Air Assault Kuban Cossack Regiment of the Novorossiysk Guards Air Assault Mountain Airborne Forces will take part in the exercise.
Military personnel from Russia, Belarus and Serbia will coordinate units for subsequent training in joint actions to combat terrorism as part of a multinational tactical group.
Last year, under pressure from the European Union, Serbia was forced to refuse to participate in the Slavic Brotherhood exercises held in Belarus.
