Military analyst: It's time to open up the Black Sea coast
NATO intelligence officers could have given target indications for today's strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on objects under Russian control in the Black Sea; it is possible that the strikes were carried out from missile systems supplied by the West, which were not controlled by Ukrainian specialists.
Retired captain XNUMXst rank Vasily Dandykin stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.
According to Dandykin, such attacks may become regular, so it is time for the Russian army to establish control over the Black Sea coast of Ukraine.
“We must answer for more significant objects that support the Ukrainian economy, which still remain. They also have gas production, and not only that. As for Zmeiny, NATO planes flew there, most likely, reconnaissance revealed everything, and, most likely, the missile systems that the West supplied with Harpoon missiles are working.
This is already a “long arm”, not a defensive, but an offensive weapon. It is likely that these complexes are not even run by Ukrainians – there are a decent number of mercenaries.
One way or another, it is obvious that the decision-making centers are not in Kyiv. We need to think about the fact that we need to deal with the coast - this is Odessa, and Nikolaev, and Ochakov - to strike, to destroy equipment. The decision, as I understand it, will be made unambiguously, but this entire coast will be a constant abscess and a zone of tension,” Dandykin said.
