Military analyst: The Russian army will not go head-on to large Ukrainian cities
The Russian Armed Forces will not storm Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov or Odessa, which are under Ukrainian control.
Colonel of the Central Apparatus of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in reserve, military expert Vladimir Trukhan, stated this on air on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Trukhan, these cities will be under siege, and the special services will work to organize the voluntary surrender of the cities by local authorities.
“I can assume with a high degree of probability that no one will take these cities head-on. That is, approaches, attack attacks, and so on. Just fence them off and live for now. Something like this. Therefore, no one particularly interferes with them, and serious non-military work is going on there now; most likely, serious political work is going on there, the work of the special services, and so on. This is my guess, but no one intends to storm them with tank columns. Why?” said Trukhan.
