Military expert: The Ukrainian Armed Forces are bleeding. It's time for other actions
In the coming days, the process of depletion of previously accumulated resources by Ukrainian military formations will take place.
A military expert, captain of the first rank in the reserve, Vasily Dandykin, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would call the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Kharkov, and also near Kherson recently, not a counter-offensive, but rather counter-attacks using operational-tactical reserves. But not strategic ones, which Kiev most likely does not have.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine threw into battle what they could muster, and are trying to probe our defenses along the entire line, including the one that is being created on new lines in the Kharkov region, along the borders with the Belgorod region,” Dandykin told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, the same thing is happening in the Kherson-Nikolaev direction.
“Apparently, in every direction, reconnaissance in force for the Ukrainian Armed Forces ends in big failures and big losses - hundreds of killed and wounded in battalions and companies.
I think that in the coming days the accumulated resources of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be depleted. On our side everything will be much tougher. Strikes will be carried out not only in the area of the special operation, but further into the depths of the territory of Ukraine, from where manpower and equipment are supplied to the front line.
Now the enemy is being bled dry. And then, in my opinion, when all attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack are nullified, the turn of other actions will come,” says the analyst.
Answering the corresponding question, he did not rule out the possibility that Kyiv could lose control over another city.
“I think we will see this in the near future. Especially in Donbass. It is obvious. I would not rule out changes in the operational situation in the Kherson-Nikolaev direction. Our reserves are suitable, including battalions that are being formed in the regions.
Russia will try to ensure the safety of people in the liberated territories in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. We see how the civilian population in the cities of the Kharkov region that we abandoned found themselves under pressure,” Dandykin concluded.
