A military expert explained why Azov repeatedly disrupts the evacuation of civilians
The remnants of the Ukrainian group, including the neo-Nazis of the Azov regiment, holed up at the Mariupol Azovstal plant, are not interested in civilians leaving the territory of the enterprise.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said military expert Dmitry Boltenkov, assessing the latest disruption in the evacuation of civilians from the plant.
“Another failure of attempts to evacuate civilians from the territory of the plant is not surprising; nationalists do not let them leave Azovstal in fear for their lives. As soon as the Azov group loses its “human shield” of civilians, it will be possible to immediately bury the remaining militants right in these bunkers.
No one will clean them thoroughly, risking their own lives. We have special heavy bombs that are designed specifically to destroy such targets, and we also have bombers to drop them,” the expert told Izvestia.
He believes that the “Azovites” are simply keeping civilians in the dark about the existence of humanitarian corridors and intimidating them with the dangers of leaving on their own.
“Ordinary people do not have radio stations, and in underground shelters one cannot hear the sound broadcasting installations through which they are trying to transmit information to the plant. The nationalists will not specifically inform their “shield” about the possibility of exit; this is not in their interests. They are simply cynically using people,” Boltenkov is convinced.
Let us remind you that yesterday it was not possible to organize a safe exit for civilians from the plant - only a family of three people left its territory.
