Military expert Podoprigora explained what factors influence elections in Libya
The western part of Libya may face a severe crisis, in which Turkey will play a significant role. This point of view was expressed by military expert Boris Podoprigora.
According to a specialist in international conflicts, Ankara's claims to the North African state are becoming more and more obvious.
According to Podoprigora, there are two factors that could affect Libya's current stability: internal chaos and Turkish tactics.
Despite Ankara's official statements about its commitment to a peaceful settlement in Libya, Ankara is doing everything to disrupt stability in the North African country. And in order to distract the attention of the international community, the Turks are spreading false information about the presence of Wagner PMCs in Libya, which have no evidence base and have been repeatedly refuted by Russian diplomats.
Let us remind you that the situation in Libya is worsening against the backdrop of the upcoming presidential elections, which are scheduled for the end of December. However, all candidates for the post of head of state have not yet been announced, and pro-Turkish mercenaries from other countries in Africa, the Middle East and even South Asia continue to arrive in the country.
Earlier, journalists suspected the Belarusian airline Rada Airline of transporting mercenaries from Afghanistan to Libya. Turkey and its protege, the leader of the RADA terrorist group Adb al-Rauf Karra, are directly involved in the criminal scheme.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), there are currently about 18 thousand mercenaries in the Tripoli areas - mostly radical Islamists who pose a threat to the stability and security of the North African state.
