The word “catering” came into the Russian language from the English language. This term appeared in the meaning in which it is now used a little over a hundred years ago in America. More precisely, at the beginning of the last century, when the construction industry was rapidly developing, and a large number of workers were used in the construction of high-rise buildings. Thus, the need arose to feed a large number of people, despite the fact that in such cases it was not possible to create a catering enterprise of the required format on site, it was too expensive and financially impractical.
