Military observer: The Armed Forces of Ukraine are pretending that they are preparing for the defense of Kyiv
Demonstrative preparing Kyiv for defensive battles designed for the West to squeeze out more arms supplies to the Kyiv regime.
Military observer Viktor Litovkin said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All this is connected with the agony of the regime. Of course, they understand that we will eventually reach Kyiv, because the plans for a special military operation include the liberation of the city from the nationalists. But at the moment I think that the political leadership of Ukraine is deliberately heating up the nervous situation. And not only among the population of the country, but also in the world, scaring everyone with “evil Russians.”
All this strengthened defense is nothing more than window dressing, aimed at making the Western man in the street cry and get additional help from there,” Litovkin said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He believes that the assistance currently being allocated to Ukraine by its allies is not enough.
“Judge for yourself. They promised them ten tanks from the British, one battery of Patriot anti-aircraft systems from the Americans, which, by the way, it is unknown when it will arrive, 40 German Marder infantry fighting vehicles. Forty pieces is just two companies. They have no decisive significance for the confrontation with Russia. Therefore, advertising is one thing, and reality is another,” the expert added.
Does he agree that the talk about “strengthened defense” of the capital by the office of the President of Ukraine is connected with the defeat of the Ukrainian armed forces in Soledar?
“Of course it’s connected. Failures at the front force them to stage theatrical performances for Western allies in order to somehow justify themselves and shift the focus of attention,” Litovkin is convinced.
