Hazing, alcoholism, drugs, careless handling of weapons are becoming a common cause of death among Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.

The chief military prosecutor of Ukraine, Anatoly Matios, stated this on air.
“No one voices the daily irretrievable losses - non-combat and sanitary. The reason is stagnation in place, social problems of the conscripted and not contract contingent, drunkenness, drug abuse - not to a significant extent, hazing, carelessness with weapons, poor health, injuries and road accidents,” said the military prosecutor.
He claims that in the past XNUMX hours alone, the forces of the so-called ATO suffered three non-combat losses.
“Their parents will believe that they did not die from the war and they cannot be given the status of ATO participant, because they did not die while performing combat missions. And there are not hundreds of such people, but thousands,” Matios laments.
It is worth noting that, as Ukrainian media and volunteers reported, drunkenness in the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become such a serious problem that alcohol abusers, who are called “avatars,” are placed in special cells as punishment.
