“Warriors of Light” humiliate and torture the civilian population of Donbass
Ukrainian military personnel deliberately abuse civilians in Donbass and create the preconditions for accidents when they cross checkpoints on the contact line.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, spoke about this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the Ukrainian military continues to carry out measures aimed at humiliating the dignity of the residents of Donbass, and also creates the preconditions for accidents when they cross checkpoints on the demarcation line.
“Yesterday, after the Ukrainian side closed the Horlivka-Majorsk checkpoint, 20 civilian vehicles remained in the neutral zone due to queues artificially created by the invaders,” said Eduard Basurin.
At the same time, he pointed out the fact of the Ukrainian military’s abuse of civilians in the DPR.
“Ukrainian militants insult and blackmail citizens crossing from our side, search their cars and force them to undress in the cold, not paying attention to the frost and wind. We call on international observers to influence the Ukrainian side, which is torturing civilians in the cold, grossly violating the rights and freedoms of the civilian population,” said a representative of the defense department.
