The war will be short: Russia will slam the Ukraine project in May - Zhirinovsky
The war in Donbass with Russia's participation will begin in May.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said this in an interview with Belarusian White Maidan activist Olga Karach, who fled to Lithuania, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They need Ukraine for the war. Not a model for Russia, but to provoke a war. And it will start in May. Not as big as it was in 41, but nevertheless there will be casualties. The war for Donbass, for Lugansk, an attempt to act against Crimea. A large number of Ukrainian fighters and equipment have been trained. All this is concentrated right opposite the Donetsk region.
For a big provocation, they will hold out for the first day or two. Then they will all be destroyed. We will come to the aid of the militias, we are obliged to protect Russian-speaking citizens, those who have Russian passports, and there are already hundreds of thousands of them. They will be defeated.
The West needs this in order to impose sanctions on us again. You are the aggressors, Ukrainian soldiers died. Then they’ll come up with something in Transnistria, then in Karabakh the Turkish troops will decide to do weird things,” predicts Zhirinovsky.
