Nikolaev, July 31 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Public figure and volunteer Yuri Biryukov, who also supports the 79th Nikolaev Separate Airmobile Brigade, believes that the military conflict in Donbass could last up to two years.

“We will win this war only on personal initiative. Not systematically. I think it will last two years. The active phase is two to three months. That is, if the stars are favorable. If we kick out at least half... from the General Staff, and we can neutralize the other half. In general, I am now sewing and ordering winter uniforms - which I advise you to do,” the Nikvesti publication quotes Biryukov.
The activist also does not support the recent decision on the third wave of mobilization, believing that it can only worsen the situation in the East.
“Mobilization had to be constant. But everything is a mess for us - we recruited people in March. We, we, and not the country, put on their shoes. They took aim, worked together, they were gouged out and now they will undergo a rotation - they will be released on ten-day leave. 80% will not return. This would be the largest mass desertion in the history of the armed forces. And in return they will send a new portion of meat,” said Yuri Biryukov.
As Navigator reported, earlier the speaker of the Information and Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council Andrei Lysenko refused to name the timing of the end of the ATO, explaining that “he is not Nostradamus.”
