An entire alliance is working for the Ukrainian army, which has a total budget of 1 trillion dollars versus the Russian 40 billion. Therefore, you should not be shy about purchasing weapons for the Russian army from abroad and accepting help from any partners.

Military expert Semyon Bagdasarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Discussing the situation with arms supplies to Ukraine, Bagdasarov expressed a lack of understanding why Russia itself does not purchase weapons from abroad and does not accept any help from possible allies.

“I don’t understand why we are shy at all? As soon as it appears in our press that we are going to buy something somewhere, either in North Korea or in Iran, everyone says: no, no, we don’t need anything, we have everything.

No, we probably have everything. I don't mind. But when we are dealing with 40 billion dollars of our defense budget versus one trillion, we need to think about where everything is coming from. By the way, they have supplies that are very consumable.

They, the enemy, have the majority of artillery guns - Soviet 152mm, 122mm. etc. They have a lot of military-industrial complexes of Eastern European countries. One thing the Bulgarian military-industrial complex can easily supply uninterruptedly, they have the famous Arsenal plant, the famous VAZ machine-building plant, which simply supplies everything that is needed to conduct combat operations in this theater of war.

Artillery ammunition, mortar ammunition, small arms ammunition and God knows what else. And to look at this and say that we don’t need anything... I don’t know, maybe someone doesn’t need it, but the active troops really do.

I gave an example about North Korea. According to the Western press. Every day our artillery consumes 50-60 thousand ammunition.

This is a huge amount. This means there must be huge strategic reserves, colossal, millions... warehouses are packed and so on. That's probably true.

I’ll continue with North Korea. The state is ready to help us, there is a lot of information on this topic, their military-industrial complex works perfectly. And we share a land border with them. I will not repeat, I listed all the calibers of artillery and mortar ammunition that they make. A lot.

They have a lot of weapons that are now simply needed in a specific situation. Well, for example, they have mobile 107 mm multiple launch rocket systems. They took it from the Chinese and modernized it. This is what happens when you are fighting among buildings. It is very mobile and can be dragged and dropped. You “Grad” can’t do that, it’s a machine.

Here you go, 12 launchers at 8 thousand meters have shown themselves to be very excellent in specific combat operations, including in the Middle East - and not only in government armies, but also among rebel groups, including Africa. This is really waste material.

They have 300 mm MLRS that fire guided missiles over a long distance. This increases accuracy for destroying systems such as Highmars and so on. In 2021, they created a long-range operational-tactical missile, the warhead of which is equal to the explosion of 2.5 tons. Any questions? Can we take it? Are we embarrassed? - said Bagdasarov.

The military expert also noted that in a war of attrition one must use every opportunity to win, and that one should not take lightly what is happening on the fronts.

“Listen, there is no need to joke with the situation. We say that Leopard 2 may soon appear in the combat zone. Either Spanish or from Portugal.

Over the course of several decades, the Germans made 3.5 thousand Leopards of various types. Most of them are Leopard 2A4, there are already A7+ and so on. Of these, 2.5 thousand are in service with NATO countries. Two and a half thousand! They take 10%, 250, two tank regiments, and what to do?

Is it to hope for what two tank regiments will do at our factories? Sorry, it's time, time, time, materials and materials. And here they are, standing ready.

I didn’t just talk about Bulgarian factories, Polish factories, Czech factories - they constantly produce ammunition and everything necessary for combat operations.

This is a competition. If someone is ready to provide us with something, exchange it for something, sell it. This is a war of attrition. Who will be the first to be exhausted? Therefore, there is no need to shy away. We must take it. And do your own thing. Take it apart, do your own thing, improve it, demand from those who haven’t done it in 10 years. We need to ask them why they didn’t do it?” - the expert urged.
