The war with the “aggressor” is in full swing: Russia is only becoming more prominent in the Ukrainian economy
Despite sanctions and the fight against numerous agents of the “aggressor country,” Russia’s presence in the Ukrainian economy has not decreased, but, on the contrary, increased.
Deputy Viktor Romanyuk stated this during a round table in the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To have the illusion that the presence of Russian business in Ukraine is something other than continuing to work with various special structures on the territory of our state - the answer is definitely “yes.”
Any structure of the Russian economy in the structure of our state is a direct threat to our statehood. Another thing is how our state perceives these challenges and how we respond to them.
The cleanup of the banking sector revealed a very simple thing. Due to the fact that we are at war with the Russian Federation, Western private capital does not enter Ukraine.
Accordingly, Russian capital, as one that is not afraid of challenges and is accustomed to working in the post-Soviet space, feels very good because we do not create antidotes for it that would create discomfort for it.
Accordingly, the presence of Russian capital in the banking sector has increased. That is, the threats have increased,” Romanyuk said.
