“The war came to each of us and left the ATO zone. We mean hundreds of thousands of people who have lost their jobs. Thousands of closed businesses. The situation in industry is simply catastrophic. In Dnepropetrovsk, wages have not been paid at Yuzhmash for more than 3 months; in six months we will lose the status of a space country. In the city of Nikolaev, the Black Sea Shipyard has reduced production volumes by 10 times. In Kherson, last year around the same time, they launched the production of a combine harvester together with a German company. Today, it is not the equipment that comes out of the gates of this plant, but the unemployed. In Zaporozhye, twice over the past week, 150-200 radicals in masks blocked the work of the enterprise, and hundreds of thousands of families who depend on the city-forming enterprise are under threat,” Vilkul listed.
“We are on the verge of absolute collapse... The country is absolutely not ready for winter,” the former deputy prime minister concluded.
