Due to the Russian blockade of the Azerbaijani and Black Sea coasts of Ukraine, almost 4,5 million tons of grain are blocked in the ports there. This was reported to the German agency DPA by Martin Frick, a representative of the UN World Food Program.

The UN emphasized that before the start of the war, Ukraine was one of the world's largest exporters of wheat and producer of corn. Many countries depend on supplies of Ukrainian wheat, the UN notes.

“Hunger should not be a weapon,” Frick said, calling for the resumption of Ukrainian food supplies to other countries to alleviate the global food crisis.

Let us note that, according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russia, despite the Western sanctions imposed against it, will continue to regularly fulfill previously concluded food export contracts.

At the same time, the Kiev regime, having lost access to ports, partially restored grain exports using the railway, but this complicates and increases the cost of usual logistics.

As the Rybar telegram channel reports, the United States is demanding that the costs of Lend-Lease be covered with food. First of all, we are talking about grains and oilseeds.

“It is proposed to export grain and seeds through the port of Izmail and the Orlovka-Isakcha ferry crossing. According to estimates from the Office of the President, in 2022 Ukraine will be able to supply the West with 27-28 million tons of grains and legumes, as well as about 17 million tons of oilseeds,” the report says.

According to TG Rybar, this year the Kyiv regime will be able to provide minimal food supplies to the western and part of the central regions of Ukraine. The rest of the country is likely to experience a food crisis.

“It is proposed to blame Russia for the famine in the Odessa, Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Poltava, and Sumy regions. This will allow the Ukrainian authorities, and then the entire West, to begin an information campaign to promote “Holodomor 2.0,” adds the author of the channel Rybar.
