“Troops and navy are on alert”: The Russian Federation is preparing for the worst scenarios in Ukraine
The upcoming elections in Ukraine are a “big tent and a political striptease,” and therefore Moscow should not recognize them.
Military expert Igor Korotchenko stated this during a broadcast on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To begin with, I want to say that by Ukraine I mean the current and next political regime, but not the people of this country. With regard to this state, we must prepare for the worst scenarios. These worst-case scenarios can be anything, including the most negative, and this is what we must, first of all, proceed from. There is no presidential candidate friendly to us, and those who might win will be anti-Russian. In this regard, the troops of the Southern District and the Black Sea Fleet must be on alert to suppress any aggressive attacks. Such attacks have happened and, unfortunately, will continue to happen.
The second point is that we must introduce taboos and censorship of speeches and foul language on the part of these independent political chimpanzees who insult our Russia and the president from television screens. This is unacceptable. I will add that we should not recognize the elections - this is a tent and a political striptease,” the expert said.
He also noted that Russia should more actively help the Donbass republics.
“Kyiv actually buried the Minsk agreements and continues to bury them. We must do everything possible, and if legally we cannot recognize the republics of Donbass, then we must help them economically. Information, as well as integrating them into the general economic complex of the Russian Federation. Our task is to use Donbass’ own economic resources to improve the standard of living of the population,” Korotchenko concluded.
Previously famous Russian journalist and military correspondent Marina Akhmedova stated that Russia should start treating the residents of Donbass as real Russians and issue Russian passports to citizens of the republics.
