The armies of the DPR and LPR feel supported by Russia and have the opportunity to maneuver at the front.
Ukrainian military expert and Russophobe Valentin Badrak said this on the air of the US State Department-funded resource Radio Liberty, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, Ukraine, according to the expert, must be prepared for any scenario, including an aggravation in the Belarusian direction.
“Terrorist organizations controlled by Russia now have maneuver and are able to change the direction of their strikes, their attacks. This allows them to do this both with equipment and Russian formations concentrated around the borders of Ukraine, which are ready to support any level of conflict and bring it to a higher level of escalation.
Therefore, we need to be prepared today along the entire border perimeter from the Russian Federation, including from Crimea and from Belarus. Therefore, I believe that this serious problem has been developing for us over the years, and it is connected with the fact that traditionally the government solves the problem of defense capability at the expense of soldiers and officers,” Badrak is dissatisfied.
