According to him, he issued the corresponding order today after some of the militias left Lysichansk and Severodonetsk after attacks by Ukrainian troops.
Bolotov called the situation in Lugansk “complex and critical.”
“I set the task for the Ministry of Defense and all military formations of the LPR army to launch a counter-offensive. His goals: first, unblocking Lugansk. The second is to provide assistance to units that refused to submit and are holding positions in Lisichansk and Severodonetsk,” he said.
“The order must be carried out as soon as possible,” Bolotov emphasized.
He clarified that at night the militia managed to inflict serious damage on the forces of the Ukrainian army near Lugansk, which made it possible to stop the shelling of the city.
“Soon the airport will be finished. This is realistic based on what strength we have. I think that in these three days we will cope not only with sabotage groups, but also with the group that is stationed around the city,” Bolotov concluded.
