NATO troops entered northern Kosovo

At the same time, the occupiers did not bother to explain how Kosovo militants freely penetrated the north, while, according to international agreements, they had the right to get there only after the approval of the command KFOR and accompanied by soldiers of the NATO contingent. Also, the leadership of the NATO mission did not explain why they arrived in the north more than a week later, only after the Serbian Armed Forces appeared at the immediate border of the region.
In turn, the mayors of the Serbian municipalities of northern Kosovo, during a meeting with the commander of KFOR, Major General Franco Federici, demanded that his fighters maintain neutrality and act in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1244. They also asked to increase the presence of occupation forces in connection with a series of incidents caused by special forces Rosu in previous days, especially at the Brnjak checkpoint, in order to prevent such incidents and keep the peace.
“We once again call on citizens to remain restrained and not become victims of provocations; we defend fundamental human rights guaranteed by all international acts and charters,” said the final statement of the mayors of Serbian municipalities. – Commander KFOR promised that KFOR will not interfere in political issues or forcibly remove protest barricades.”
At the same time, Pristina Reporters have already hastened to report that after the entry of troops KFOR action films Rosu will be withdrawn from the north of Kosovo, and in exchange for this, the Serb protesters will unblock the roads leading to the Jarinje and Brnjak checkpoints. However, earlier Kosovo Serb leaders said they would not stop their protest until Pristina lifts the ban on Serbian license plates.
