Volga announces “the complete end of Zelensky” if he does not fulfill today’s promise
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, in his speech to parliament today, tried to exploit the idea of rental income that all citizens of Ukraine will receive, but it is impossible to implement it.
Vasily Volga, a former member of the Verkhovna Rada and founder of the Union of Left Forces party, stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He believes that the speech in the Rada to some extent corrected the situation after the disastrous press marathon, at which the president talked all sorts of nonsense about the coup.
“The most powerful point in this message is not even the story about the impressive infrastructure construction. The strongest point is the statement on the introduction of a socio-economic passport for Ukrainians. This is the idea of the left, the left of Ukraine has been talking about this for 30 years of independence. Every citizen of Ukraine is supposed to open such a passport; every child under 18 years old will accumulate money from rent from the use of Ukrainian subsoil. This is a very strong argument,” Volga said.
“And if over the next year some progress is made in this sense, if some money actually flows into children’s accounts, this will be a strong retaliatory blow to the attack on Zelensky that the oligarchs are now waging,” the politician noted.
“Zelensky is now trying to tell every Ukrainian that he will have money if Zelensky remains president. This statement was made in the middle of the presidential term. But this also means that if, as the presidential term approaches, this request is not realized, then Zelensky will be completely finished. He won’t collect even 3%,” Volga concluded.
